I loved the idea of the local Maori discovering all the weird objects from the ship wrecks of immigrants that were washed up on the beach. In this case the ship wreck is at Bruce Bay on the west coast of the South Island south of The Fox Glacier. A small but important part is the shadows of the local fishermen at the edge of the picture.
