<span class="year">1965</span> Won <strong>National</strong> Competition for Air New Zealand poster design.<br />
<span class="year">1966</span> Attended Wellington Polytechnic School of Design (4 year course).<br />
<span class="year">1969</span> Completed Diploma course at Wellington Polytechnic School of Design with Honours.<br />
<span class="year">1969</span> (June) All work done up to that time lost in house fire in Wellington. Spent 5 months recovering from burns.<br />
<span class="year">1969</span> “Self Portrait Bust With Tendrils”. First painting done after fire.<br />
<span class="year">1970</span> Completed “Urban Sprawl”, <strong>finalist</strong> in that year’s Benson and Hedges Art Award.<br />
<span class="year">1970</span> NZ Young Contemporaries Exhibition.<br />
<span class="year">1971</span> Began work on “Maybe Tomorrow”.<br />
Began 2 years work on illustrations for “New Zealand’s Heritage; The Making of<br />
A Nation” magazine.<br />
<span class="year">1974</span> Completed “Maybe Tomorrow” entered and won <strong>1974 Benson and Hedges Art Award<br />
